Felix married Letitia Magee in 1832 and they left the same year to arrive in New York Harbor. Felix Short was the son of Paul Short (McGirr) and Catherine.
Felix Short arrived in Cambria Co PA sometime prior to the 1840 census, he bought a 100 acre farm in Carroltown from Philip Noon. Felix lived on that farm until he died in 1893. The Short family was originally named McGirr in Northern Ireland. They attended St. Benedict's Church in Carrolltown.
Eventually Paul Short married Sophia Hershell about 1881 and they eventually settled in Patton, PA. They attended St. Mary's Church in Patton, PA. Paul Short died about 1917, and Sophia died about 1908. Paul and Sophia had these kids: Joseph; Roman Peter; John; Francis A. (Frank); Benedict Otto; Mary; Gertrude; Caroline; Edwin Felix.

Martin was last known to be living in California separated from his wife Marilyn. Martin and Marilyn had one son, Tom, and she had two daughters to a previous marriage. Dave married and had three children and their last known address was in Illinois.
Floyd married DeLellis (Williams) Airhart in 1950 and after her death he then married her sister Ruth (Williams) Short.
