================
One the 1870 Juniata, Delaware Township census, her name was spelled as Creator
Hannah was 38, and they lived at house number 136 (street unsure) in Juniata, Delaware Township.
Hannah was 38, and Sarah was 10. Howard was 8, and they had two boarders.

But 10 years later, in the 1880 census, Hannah was now 48, Jacob was there (55).
(Jacob wasn't in the earlier census, nor some of the kids.)
We don't think this was a second marriage.
Possibly, he lived on the farm, and she lived in the city and took in boarders.

The children listed in the 1880 census are:
John W. (27)
Mary A. (23)
Sarah E(?) (18) (instead of 20)
Howard L. (16) (instead of 18)
Emma (14)
David F. (12)
Amanda (10)
Barbara A. (8)

Ruth Alberta Smith

She killed herself by drinking mercury
The story is that 14 years after her parents had their last kid, they met Ruth Smith (later Preston) and thought she was the most beautiful baby. They had a daughter and named her Ruth. Apparently during a family argument when she was 26 years old, she ran upstairs and drank mercury. She lingered for a while, and then died a painful death.
